Ohlhoffiidae, a new Cretaceous family of basal parasitic wasps (Hymenoptera: Stephanoidea)

نویسندگان

چکیده

A new family of stephanoid wasps is established based on Cretaceous amber inclusions and rock imprints. Ohlhoffiidae fam. nov. comprises four species in three genera: Ohlhoffia robusta gen. et sp. nov., Myanmephialtites bashkuevi which are newly described figured from mid-Cretaceous northern Myanmar; Cretephialtites pedrerae Rasnitsyn & Ansorge, 2000, C.(?) hispanicus (Rasnitsyn Martínez-Delclòs, 2000) comb. transferred here Karataus hispanicus, both the Barremian Spain. key to genera proposed, we also discuss shifting proportion non-aculeate between Early Cenozoic.

Three new species of reared parasitic wasps (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Microgastrinae) from India.

Three new species of parasitic wasps (Braconidae: Microgastrinae) from southern India are described and illustrated. (Leguminosae) along with a hyperparasitoid, Eurytoma sp. (Eurytomidae). Glyptapantel...

A new Late Cretaceous family of Hymenoptera, and phylogeny of the Plumariidae and Chrysidoidea (Aculeata)

The taxonomic placement of an enigmatic species of wasp known from two specimens in Late Cretaceous New Jersey amber is investigated through cladistic analyses of 90 morphological characters for 33 terminals ranging across non-Aculeata, non-Chrysidoidea, most subfamilies of Chrysidoidea and all genera of Plumariidae (the family to which the fossils were initially assigned), based on use of exem...
